Originally from the Greater Toronto Area, Heidy completed her undergraduate degree in film & Media Production. She decided to pursue a career in law after encountering complex legal matters in the entertainment industry while working on various TV shows. Heidy attended the university of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, completing a Dual English and Scottish Law degree. She was called to the Bar in October 2023 and recently relocated to the Ottawa region to join Barker Willson. Heidy is fluent in both official languages, as well as Arabic. She actively volunteers with the youth program at her church and enjoys cooking, baking, and exploring the world as an avid traveler in her free time. She approaches legal matters with a strategic and meticulous mindset, striving to provide effective solutions and insightful guidance to her clients. She believes in leveraging her legal expertise to advocate for her clients’ best interests and contribute positively to the community.
